McAvoy off-site building solutions

Eugene Lynch has been appointed Managing Director of McAvoy Off-Site Solutions.

Eugene is responsible for further developing and implementing the McAvoy Off-Site Solutions growth strategy. Orla Corr is stepping down to spearhead other planned developments within the group. She will remain a main board director.

Commenting on Eugene’s appointment, Orla said: “Recruiting such an experienced and talented managing director is a tremendous boost for the company. I am confident that he will lead the company to even greater success to the benefit of our existing and future customers as well as everyone engaged in the business. I wish Eugene well in the new role and look forward to working with him to accelerate our growth.”

Eugene, a qualified Chartered accountant, brings to the company a wide range of management experience with his most recent role as that of Group Operations Director at JP Corry, the leading Northern Ireland based timber and building supplies business which was sold to St Gobain in 2006.

Previously he was General Manager of the Belfast plant of Hughes Christensen, a manufacturer of specialist drilling products for the international oil and gas industry and part of theUS based Baker Hughes Group

With his broad based general management background spanning from finance, manufacturing and distribution Eugene will be driving McAvoy to expand the range of Off-Site off-site prefabricated modular space solutions. 

Eugene is looking forward to working with the management and staff of McAvoy in developing the overall capability of the Off-Site Solutions business.

One of the most important tasks is to improve the customer experience in dealing with McAvoy Off-Site Solutions whether in Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Great Britain or further afield.
